No one has more training in outpatient newborn care than a pediatrician. Our board-certified pediatrician and his nurse practitioner are experts in newborn care.

A healthy start in life is our desire. We will see your newborn at 3-5 days and at 2 weeks of age. It is imprtant during these visits to check for Jaundice (the yellow skin and eye color), feedings, weight gain, umbilical cord and to do the newborn screening test.

We feel that seeing your newborn soon after discharge is very important.  Newborn scheduling is a top priority and our schedulers will help you find an appointment time a few days after your newborn is discharged from the hospital.
